Prison kusudi la: Ukarabati au Adhabu?

Lengo la gereza- they claim rehabilitation. I know it to be punishment. All aspects of a life behind bars is designed to destroy the last of who a being is. Physical and psychological torture. Cold steel, concrete and convicts. One roof made to shield out the unwanted eyes from exactly what rehabilitation has become. Dissipated programs, schooling and jobs. Nothing left but free time for inmates to educate themselves on how to become better criminals.

Rehabilitation without balance is impossible. If there is nothing good to counter, we who have been deemed bad where does one find methods of correction? All about prison’s purpose!

When theproblemfeeds families, the problem is accepted. The problem gets in the way

Punishment! Lengo la gereza. The purpose of prisons, apart from punishmentD-O-L-L-A-R-S! Billions of them. All at the expense of misguided men and women. Families of the elite are being fed, while in the same breath, the young and poor are being introduced to prison; walking one after the other into its iron doors and becoming well informed, through experience, on its diagram to punish.

The deep waters of prison’s purpose are not isolated to only us behind bars, but our communities as well. Your very own tax dollars being used to declare our neighborhoods null and void. Lengo la gereza! Financing the creation of more prisons, which will ultimately keep minority families separated. Ndiyo, it is largely minorities who suffer from economic strife and criminal infestation of their neighborhoods, making minorities the top contender to fill these prisons and be unremorsefully punished… Prison kusudi la!
