거리에서 살아 남기

Most people who aspire to being down with the street life come to prison having things twisted from the start. 이 ignorance about the game causes very bad decisions to be made. Decisions that you cannot take back once they are made and acted upon. I’m not trying to sound all preachy but to a degree I am. When I came into the game I didn’t have anyone to really break nothing to me. It would not have been in their best interest. Everybody is pretty much out to get whatever they can for the least amount of work and effort and that means manipulating other people to doing what benefits them by making you believe it benefits you as well.

예를 들면, the older car thieves needed younger, stupid car thieves to go out with them to steal cars. The younger, naïve car thief assumed he was now down with the fellas, a high honor among thieves to the point the young and stupid would do anything to come across as brave and down.

The older drug dealers needed younger, stupid and naïve cats to do the window dressing, standing out there on the corner or in the projects dealing hand-to-hand and taking all the risk. The young dealer was able to embellish their appearance with top-notch fashion and, 대부분의 경우, cars too. But it was the bigger connects/suppliers who made the real money and assumed the least amount of risk.

No matter the level of the game you look at you’ll see it over and over again. The majority of people in the game are being used and abused, then thrown away and replaced by the next younger and dumber potential statistic.

다시, I didn’t have anyone really sit me down and explain to me the true art of surviving in the streets. Had I, that person would probably have said to me:

Look youngin- Here in America, the richest country in the world, one of the only countries where anybody can come up, simply from an idea, everything is based on capital. The way the economic game is set up is capital leads to wealth and that leads to ownership. All of which leads to establishing a foundation for your family’s name and leaving behind a legacy that can generate more capital for your offspring. It started out brutal in the name of oppression. Racism was not the reason for enslaving Native Americans, then Africans. It was based on expanding and enhancing the empires of the slavemasters forefathershomelands in Spain, Portugal, Great Britain, and France; exploiting the natural resources of these countries. 물론, to do that is a lot of work. Diamonds need someone to find them and clean them, so does gold, so does iron, rubber, cotton, 기타. So they used religion to justify their own conscience and the horrible task of abusing and dominating an entire people, mainly Native Americans and Africans. So with the cross of Christ engraved on their clothing, 그들, in the name of Christ, employed their new slaves to do the hard work for them to build this empire they called the New World.
