The Children: I Feel Their Pain

When I leave prison I wonder what will be the state of mind the children. While I have spent years studying and building my mind, others have been stagnated and on drugs. I do know their position and what they are going through. Can I honesty expect them to see things as I see them? I find myself wondering how many people out there are really trying to help these young men. When I speak to them I feel their pain. To them, it seems there is no other option.

It seems like every time I get on the phone someone I know and watched grow up has died. I ask myself what is this all for; what is the benefit? We all know the cost – a life, life in prison or death. Is what we are going through in our neighborhoods really worth it? Street fame, a block, a couple of dollars; what else can we get?

We don’t even own most of the property in our communities. The Jews and others do. The stores we buy from everyday are owned by foreigners not even from our community. The money that we work hard for and sacrifice for is leaving our communities daily. Nothing we are doing benefits us as a whole, and most of what we do is for nothing.

Parents are working hard labor for years to support their children and save money. Meanwhile their children are getting killed and wasting time, bringing our people even further down while helping elevate the out-of-town business and property owners and drug cartels. We need to elevate our people and culture from labor and consumerism to producers and ownership.

I always ask myself how can I help shape the minds of our children. All the talking in the world won’t change their minds, but if I can help just one that means I did something right. It will take action, and I have to be ready to take action when I get out of prison. Some people ask, how can I do such a thing, and I tell them, I know it’s not going to be easy.

It’s usually your own people who don’t support you, and many people judge you on your past instead of the present. But that wont stop me because it means nothing. It’s just another obstacle to overcome. I overcame the worst and do not doubt my ability. I will persevere. But I do question the loyalty of others. While some are for the cause, many are for the corporations. I would love to be a walking example of someone who has gone through the trenches only to come out and do something that most people didn’t believe I could do.

More importantly, I can show the young brothers how to be a father to their children and care for life instead of destroying it. I look into most of these kids’ eyes in prison and see most of them are scared. They made mistakes. The drugs influenced a lot of the decisions they made. They lack knowledge, wisdom and guidance. They don’t know better.

At the end of the day we don’t own these gun companies. We don’t import the drugs into our communities. We don’t own or control our schools nor do we choose the curriculum. We don’t own most of the housing in our communities.

Take control of your own mind. Own that. Don’t let it be shaped to see things the way 그들 want you to see them
