Hækka UP: A Divine Movement

Ég verð að segja Live frá læst og hækka upp eru lang mest djúpstæð forrit til að koma yfir skrifborðið mitt. It is a blessing to work with both on behalf of Fall Back. I totally agree with how the program was formulated. It is time for those in leadership positions with influence to come together and help the community to provide hope for the younger generations.

The program er í beinu samhengi við guðlega hlutverk svo margir mikill menn og konur sem börðust fyrir hönd beygð, rejected and oppressed. Every true and worthy organization, be it religious or fraternal, was founded in the spirit of this divine phrase “Hækka UP”.

The phrase Raise UP in and of itself is truly profound, especially when it is directed toward a people who are victims of their own weakness and inability to rise above adverse circumstances. The use of the phrase “Hækka UP”, in addition to its mission to engage and inspire the community in effort to establish a new value system based upon trust and cooperation is truly a divine combination. And the more I study these letters from Raise UP’s founder and the Raise UP platform statement, the more I am convinced of its divine nature.

In the Quran, particularly Sura LVIII (58) Ayat 11, we read, “O ye who believe! When ye are told to make room in the assemblies, (Spread out and) make room; (Ample) room will God provide for you. And when ye are told to rise up, Rise up: God willHækka upp“, að (suitable) ranks (And degrees), those of you who believe and who have been granted (mystic) þekking. And God is well-acquainted with all ye do.

Taking note of the commentary listed in the Quran under 5347, it is clear that in our efforts to assembly, we are not to shut out other people who have equal rights to be in the Assembly. We are instructed to spread out, for God’s earth is spacious, and so are our opportunities. And yet, sem fanga, we have been shut out and ignored by people in our community who are convinced they can eradicate the drug induced gang culture by themselves. And what is the result of their actions but more crime and violence?

Moving down to the next commentary, 5348, the meaning of Rising Up is explained. It states, “Rising up is a mark of respect. Just as those who obey soon become worthy of command, so those who honour where honour is due become themselves worthy of honour, in various degrees according to their capacities. “Rise upmay also here imply when the assembly is dismissed, do not loiter about.

Time and time again we meet and greet, discuss the problems and brainstorm a few solutions, then go away and there we lay. We fail to act upon the very points and purpose for which we, the assembly, was called forth. We simply loiter about watching life pass us by.

The recognition of our need to establish a new value system is profound as well and directly in line with divine records.

In the Quran sura 11:117, we read, “Nor would thy Lord be the One to destroy communities for a single wrong doing if its members were likely to mend. The same understanding is revealed in the Bible. In 2nd Chronicles 7:14 it is clear that God will heal the land (samfélag) if His people would change their way of thinking and in doing so alter the ill behaviours. That phrase, “wicked ways”, refers to man’s thinking pattern in conjunction with their actions.

Or current value system is rooted in error and is the very cause of the deterioration of the community and its moral fabric. And it is no secret that our community is in dire need of a value system that is rooted and founded upon Raise UP’s Five Pillars of Prosperity, and one that can eradicate our current system and its spirit of error. The error of which I am speaking is the misplacement of the honor and shame in our value system. Whereas, that which is honorable is viewed as shameful and that which is shameful is viewed as honorable. Truly, a grave error on our part!

Engu að síður, it is in the spirit of this grave error that we observe brothers and sisters bringing children into this world but then hiding their faces and denying responsibility. Meðan, the men who claim to have killed thousands walk amongst us head held high in glory and honor.

We observe the mocking and abuse of the brothers and sisters who love one another and take of their children and the community. While those who act on the contrary can go to prison and return to the community to a hero’s welcome. Party, Party, Party! Is this no plain error?

How is it that a square is a term describing a righteous man who is upright, independent and fearless in what he believes, yet in our community the term square is derogatory and synonymous with the term lame?

And people wonder why our youth are not ashamed of their shameful acts or why they desire to be nothing more than Gangsters, pimps and hoes; Or why the youth look toward the prison with delight in their eyes and give praise to her captives.

We are in an awfully sad state and it’s time for our people to FALL BACK from their foolishness and RAISE UP in the spirit of the FIVE PILLARS OF PROSPERITY.

With much respect and divine love,

Brother Labron C. Neal-Bey

Founder of the Fall Back movement
