Quawntay Adams from Break Out Releases Book

As many of you already know, I recently published my memoir, Chasin’ Freedum. Considering the title, some might assume that the story is a reiteration of my story as revealed in the documentary “Break Out”. De Chasin’ Freedum is about much more than a prisoner escaping prison. It is a story about struggling and overcoming barriers, both internal and external. Some of these barriers are the same barriers that many of you face on a daily basis. Elvégre, the lack of freedom comes in so many more forms than incarceration.

Just recently, President Donald Trump signed an executive order banning people from seven predominantly-Muslim countries from entering the United States. When we consider the fact that many of these people are seeking to enter the United States and many other countries to escape poverty and other forms of discontentment, Trump’s executive order amounts to an act of confinement other than incarceration. Is, consider the plight of many Americans here in the United States. We too struggle with discontentment; we struggle daily to escape poverty, unemployment, discrimination, gyűlölet, harag, addiction, and other things tangible and intangible that limit our prosperity or ability to be happy and free.

So in all actuality, we live in a world filled with people who are doing on a daily basis the very same thing as I–Chasin’ Freedum.

My struggle is no different than yours. My story at it’s core is somewhat similar. Ezért, I am sure you will relate to this book in many ways. It has been said to make people laugh, make them cry, and make then make them stand up and fight to make a difference in this world we live in.

To sum it all up, Chasin’ Freedum is about my struggles, and my determination to turn decades of misfortune into a fortune. Support the struggle!
