Disdain for the Law

US-CRIME-POLICE-RACE

This is straight from the heart, mixed with personal experience and a life time of engagement with the police of urban America. The police seem to have a secret/special code of conduct when it comes to engaging people with black skin.

I have been incarcerated all of my life, in and out of prison since about the age of eleven. Így, by no means do I make these inferences as to imply that I am the equivalent of a Trayvon Martin or Michael Brown and the rest of the precious lil brothers who were slaughtered by neighborhood self-made cops and actual police officers who do not even seem to know how to deescalate a situation to prevent the persistent attack on black lives. Nekem, I was the total opposite. Most times I was up to no good, a juvenile delinquent if there ever was one. A car thief, carjacker, illegal gun-carrier, stick up kid, and head buster. If need be, a drug dealer and whatever other kind of criminal I could be whenever I needed to be or just felt like being. I hated the law just because! I hated the law before I even knew why I did. I just did. Without any historical context, without any teachings or coaxing I just had a disdain for the law. Igazat kell mondani, I thought being poor in the hood meant we had an obligation and duty to hate the law. I guess I thought the law represented a depiction of a faceless man in a suit who flooded the community with guns and drugs, tore down all of the revolutionary, nationalist leaders and movements and strategically replaced them with pimps, hustlers, and bangers. In my personal state of reckless misguided rebellion I thought no one had the right to tell me what to do, especially the cops and the people in them courtrooms. Where were they when niggas were dying? Where were they when women were being raped in the hood, lil girls being molested and kids being kidnapped? When do they come? Why do they come? I did not seem them there to prevent or stop self-destruction. They were only there to assist in returning us to being state property, to lock us up, but that is just putting a band-aid on the problem. Within an hour there would be another pimp, tolakodó, prostitute to arrest. Elvégre, is stopping this really the objective of the strangers in suits?

Rendben, we all now we know that a “G” like me can’t cry wolf right? A tear drop tattooed, identified and validated gang leader arrested for multiple murders, among a laundry list of felonies, cannot make a legitimate argument about a police state right??
