Time to Wake Up

It’s time to wake up!

Along time ago I had to learn to accept that just as not all characters are the same, not all minds are alike. Therefore because a lesson is capable of being taught by one does not dictate that it can easily be learned by another. Certain things can be understood by certain people, but most things are likely to be misunderstood by most people.

Vaata, I’m no athlete, actor, poliitik, or any other type public figure, so I don’t have to be politically correct out of fear of being ridiculed or fired from my job for saying how and what I feel. Peale selle, I am a live and direct individual who was taught to give it to the people the only way it is supposed to be given, and that’s on the real.

That said, allow me to share my perspective in the hope of solving these problems that plague our African-American communities in Chicago and all over the country.

1.) They don’t give a fuck about a protest or peace march! If they did, there wouldn’t be so many of them because the justice and equality we seek and rightfully deserve would have been given to us a long time ago. Insanity is when a person does the same thing repetitively and expects a different result. I applaud of my brothers and sisters who march and try to effect change in any shape, form or fashion. But we have to switch things up in order to achieve our goals. Mäletama, the harder the challenge, the greater the thought!

2.) It’s time for us to wake up and stop being rocked to sleep with this “Blacks vote for Democrats” bullshit. We have given these crooks our votes for decades and look where it has gotten us. What’s funny to me is how fake our community leaders and pastors will be on TV. They stand behind these candidates in a show of support to help them gain the African-American vote. They will show up at our churches a few days before the election and run game on us about what they will do for us like we aren’t the ones who created game in the first place. And after voting them into office, we won’t see them at our churches until the next election. All their promises go unfulfilled, and we act surprised.

What TV needs to show are the back room deals that our fake community leaders and pastors (some, mitte kõik) make with these politicians at the expense of the community. Isn’t that how Governor Bruce Rauner of Illinois was elected in 2014? It’s now almost 2017 and we still don’t have a state budget.

Before you vote, use your phones to research these candidates, their views, and voting history, especially on issues that affect our people and communities. Don’t just vote for someone who has the word Democrat by their name.

Mäletama, politicians work for the people who vote them into office, not themselves, so if they do not make good on their promises, hold them accountable and vote them out of office.

3.) I challenge all my African-American, Latino and universal brothers and sisters who want to challenge the establishment to do the following . . .

From November 1, 2016 detsember 1, 2016, do not spend a dollar in any fastfood restaurant or Walmart. Since they do not respect us as a people or take our concerns seriously, let’s do as the Jewish community did and take our money out of their pockets.

Once these corporations begin to lose millions of dollars, they will begin to pay attention and take action to regain those dollars. Not because they wholeheartedly support our movement or care about us as people, simply because at the end of the day the only color they care about is green. And they’re not trying to lose money.

I ask everyone who reads this to share it with friends and family and take action on one accord on November 1, 2016. We must be disciplined and fight our urges for a cup of coffee, that combo meal, or discount soap. Go somewhere else for the month of November so they can begin to understand how serious we are about not letting corporations to continue to profit from our blood, sweat and tears while we continue to suffer and be denied justice and equality.

Thank you all for tuning in. I look forward to us building so we can make our communities and the world a better place for everyone to live.

God bless all.

1 elu. 1 armastus.
